FOLLOW THE GOD OF THE BIBLE

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves” (Matthew 7:15).

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine…” (2 Timothy 4:3).

“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you…” (2 Peter 2:1).

THE LAST DAYS WILL SOUND SPIRITUAL

One of the clearest signs of the last days is not just corrupt politicians, increasing darkness, or immoral culture.

It is spiritual voices sounding deep while being disconnected from biblical truth.

Unfortunately, this generation often cannot tell the difference because modern Christianity has become more fascinated with trends than truth. Many believers know sermon clips better than Scripture. We can quote influencers but cannot quote context. We know algorithms better than theology.

Everybody suddenly became a “kingdom voice” after buying a ring light or starting a new church.

And now social media has become the modern seminary for people who have never sat long enough in God’s presence to tremble at His Word.

WHEN REVELATION BECOMES REINTERPRETATION

A pastor recently created a viral sensation by boldly claiming, “God is not first. He should be center.”

Then he explained that when Scripture says, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God” (Matthew 6:33), the church misunderstood it. According to him, God should not be viewed as first in a linear relationship, but simply at the center of everything.

That sounds intellectual.
That sounds profound.
That sounds modern.

And if you say it slowly enough with background music, people might even call it revelation. What believer doesn’t want God to be at the core of all that they do?

But it is still wrong. One verse destroys the entire argument: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:3). God commands that He comes first.

God never asked to become part of your priorities. He demanded supremacy over them. God is not applying for emotional balance in your life.
He is Lord.

THE SERPENT NEVER STOPS TALKING

This new social media theology is dangerous because it replaces surrender with semantics.

Instead of obeying Scripture plainly, people reinvent God through philosophical wordplay, emotional branding, and intellectual gymnastics designed to sound “deep.” And it’s working for the masses.

But deception has always sounded intelligent before it destroys people. We are witnessing a spiritual genocide in America and it matters to us even less than the millions being physically killed in the Congo in 2026.

The serpent in Genesis did not begin with rebellion. He began with reinterpretation. “Yea, hath God said…?” (Genesis 3:1).

That spirit is alive again. Now people twist plain Scripture until obedience becomes optional and holiness becomes “legalism.”

Apparently in modern Christianity, everything is legalism except sin. And this kind of nonsense is exactly why I keep my face set like flint against watered-down theology, spiritual manipulation, and every version of Christianity that sounds impressive but contradicts the God of the Bible.

PRAYER ROOMS HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH GREENROOMS

We are watching an entire generation become addicted to sounding deep instead of becoming holy.

Likes have become validation.
Comments have become currency.
Viral clips have become modern pulpits.

And many preachers no longer fear God enough to turn off the camera and repent privately before opening their mouths publicly.

We need preachers led by the Holy Spirit again. Preachers who tremble at Scripture more than dance at sensation. Preachers who pray when nobody notices, instead of waiting to be seen. Preachers who study more than they speculate. Preachers who fear misrepresenting God more than losing followers.

Instead, many have become too busy for prayer, too successful to study, and too occupied branding themselves to sit quietly before the Lord.

THE GOSPEL OF LUXURY

God does not approve of new-age definitions. God does not approve of motivational manipulation. God does not approve of “word salad theology” that sounds profound while emptying Scripture of authority.

And God certainly does not approve of preachers taking people to metaphorical high mountains offering them luxuries they cannot afford while misusing Scripture to sanctify greed.

Satan already tried that strategy with Jesus.

“Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain…” (Matthew 4:8).

The frightening part is some believers would have taken the deal, at least by the third time around.

Because much of modern Christianity no longer wants crosses. It wants comfort. It wants convenience. It wants influence. It wants applause. It wants wealth without suffering. Platforms without process. Crowns without crucifixion.

FOLLOW THE GOD WHO ALREADY SPOKE

The God of the Bible already revealed Himself clearly.

He is first.
He is holy.
He is Lord.
He is King.
He is Judge.
He is Savior.

And in these last days, many people are no longer following the God of the Bible. And yet they would swear they are.

We have canceled truth-tellers and customized gods through algorithms, celebrity culture, emotionalism, and platform-building.

Instead of making disciples, we build audiences. Instead of carrying crosses, we build brands. Instead of preaching repentance, we market relevance. Instead of seeking God’s presence, many seek engagement metrics.

And underneath much of it all is the same hidden idol: Money. In fact, the love of it is the root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10).

Some ministries no longer ask, “What did God say?” They say, “That’ll preach!”

WHEN DECEIVED PEOPLE LEAD OTHER DECEIVED PEOPLE

The frightening part is this: deception becomes most dangerous when it still sounds Christian.

Some leaders are sincerely deceived themselves because you cannot consistently walk in truth while consistently avoiding God’s presence. The blind cannot lead the blind.

Truth is not discovered through trends. Truth is revealed through communion with God.

You cannot replace prayer with popularity. You cannot replace study with charisma. You cannot replace holiness with influence.

THE FINAL WARNING

This is why believers must return to Scripture. Return to prayer. Return to fasting. Return to holiness. Return to reverence. Return to the fear of the Lord.

Stop blindly following viral theology. Stop worshipping charisma. Stop confusing confidence with anointing. Stop treating influence as spiritual authority.

Follow the God of the Bible.

The real God does not bow to culture. The real God does not evolve with trends. The real God does not need rebranding.

And in the end times, only those rooted in truth will survive the coming deception. Spending time in God’s presence and studying the Bible is no longer an option.

“Let God be true, but every man a liar…” (Romans 3:4).
