Over 300 prophecies in the Old Testament point to the coming Messiah—His birthplace (Micah 5:2), His suffering (Isaiah 53), His betrayal for 30 pieces of silver (Zechariah 11:12–13), and even the method of His death (Psalm 22).

No other figure in human history fulfills such a prophetic blueprint.

Scripture constantly emphasizes the heart because God is not only concerned with behavior but with inner transformation.

“Man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7)

The first recorded words of Satan in Scripture are not a command or a threat. They are a question.

“Yea, hath God said…?” (Genesis 3:1)

This was not sincere curiosity. It was a subtle attempt to infuse doubt about what God had already said. Instead of directly denying God’s command, the serpent questioned it first.

Faith was not designed to help believers get what they want, but to help them see what God has already promised.

While Jesus gave many teachings, the Gospels record over 300 questions asked by Him. These questions were not for information but for revelation, helping people examine their hearts and understand truth.

Jesus often taught not only by giving answers, but by awakening understanding through questions.

Expectation can demand that Jesus move the way we planned. Anticipation stays surrendered to whatever He says and does.

The crowd shouted, “Hosanna” when He entered Jerusalem (Matthew 21:9), but many later shouted, “Crucify him” (Luke 23:21) when He did not fit their expectations.

True discipleship does not script Jesus. It watches, listens, and follows.
